Manu Alto's guitar work is influenced by the jazz of the 60-70s. He is a master jazz improviser whose music is usually somewhere between post-bop, edged jazz and Fusion.Manu Alto was born in Austria. At the age of 12 he started to play the guitar, inspired by rock and blues players. He attended the "Vienna Conservatory of Music". Already at the age of 14 he was a member of the jazz and fusion band of his father the "Steve Alto Group" (www.stevealto.com) and was able to gain experience with great musicians. One of his sponsors and teachers is the world-famous jazz guitarist "Karl Ratzer", he recognized Manu Alto's great talent early and supported him. During his studies, he played in the Big Band of the Jazz University Vienna and celebrated the compositions of the Australian trombonist and composer "Adrian Mears". In May 2019, Manu Alto completed his first album of his own compositions, demonstrating his stylistic skills. He is supported by renowned jazz musicians like Joris Dudli & Max Haas - Drums, Joschi Schneeberger - Bass and Harry Gainsberg - Piano and many other great musicians.
